Degrowth ESEE conference
The Post-growth Innovation Lab at the University of Vigo, Spain, are hosting the International Degrowth Conference and the European Society for Ecological Economics Conference in June 2024. I was hired to create the logo identity; one that was simple yet visually attractive and that conveyed the degrowth spirit.
The chosen design was inspired by the river that runs through the conference city. The symbol represents a meeting point for different academic disciplines, students, and the public: a social site for important discussion and knowledge exchange. I also produced a brand guidelines slide deck for the team so it could be shared online amongst conference organisers and external suppliers.
