Imagining the Future of Peebles map is the creative output for a project called Owning Our Future with Peebles Community Trust and Community Land Scotland (read more about it here). After researching and conducting an imagining activity with residents, the map was produced to continue to shift perceptions about what Peebles could look like post-pandemic. It features participants' ideas from the imagining activity, well-known landmarks and whimsical additions akin to the work of Where's Wally creator, Martin Handford. The map will be printed on transportable signs and cards and taken to local schools and functions to encourage more ideas and conversation around community and how it can be stregthened.
