For International Women’s Day, COLOURS of Edinburgh wanted to celebrate the extraordinary strength that has fuelled refugee women globally. Three inspiring women were illustrated for the social media campaign: Mary Maker, Pasca Kole, and Bara. Their portraits were drawn using one continuous ink line, bringing out each woman's character without the need for detail. Square and vertical designs were created for Facebook and Instagram posts and stories.
